Makati Skyline at Night

Makati is considered as a Central Business District as this is where where many global companies, the influential Makati Business Club and the Philippine Stock Exchange hold office. Makati also boasts of its own version of Wall Street–the Ayala Avenue.

But looking at this city at night would tell us a different side of this bustling city. Having the country's tallest skyscrapers to house key offices and financial institutions, Makati City at night is really just fabulous!

I just read somewhere that in Sydney, Australia, the skyline is well lit at night too but when you pass by them via flyovers and bridges, you see that they are empty. Accordingly, its government requires these buildings to keep their lights on for tourist purposes, to have a picturesque night skyline. But I guess in the case of Makati, the lights are on because there are people working in them- call centers as BPO or Business Process Outsourcing is thriving here in the Philippines. Indeed, Makati Skyline is for real!
